About Moneybinder
Free, accurate UK money calculators — no sign-up, no data harvesting.
Moneybinder builds simple, accurate calculators for everyday UK money questions: what your take-home pay actually is, what a mortgage really costs over its life, and how a loan adds up. The tools are free, work instantly in your browser, and never ask you to register.
What we cover
Our take-home salary calculator handles UK income tax, National Insurance, pension salary sacrifice and student loan plans 1, 2, 4, 5 and postgraduate — for both the rest of the UK and Scotland's separate income-tax bands, across the 2024/25 and 2025/26 tax years. Our mortgage and loan calculators show full amortisation schedules, total interest, and the effect of overpayments — detail that most bank calculators leave out.
How we keep figures accurate
Every rate and threshold comes from official sources — HMRC, GOV.UK and the Scottish Government — and we update the calculators when they change (typically at the start of each tax year on 6 April, and after the Autumn Budget). You can read exactly how each calculator works, and check our sources, on the methodology page.
Privacy first
We think a money tool shouldn't spy on you. Moneybinder uses no tracking cookies, and the numbers you enter — your salary, mortgage or loan details — are processed entirely in your browser. They are never sent to or stored on our servers. See our privacy policy for the detail.
Important
Moneybinder's results are estimates for general guidance only and are not financial, tax or legal advice. Always check your own circumstances with a qualified professional or the relevant official source — for tax, that's GOV.UK.
